The cashew kernels are acquired through the process of roasting, steaming, shelling and peeling. Under the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act 1963, the cashew kernels are graded as white whole, scorched whole, pieces, splits, bits, etc depending on the shapes, sizes & colours of the kernels. The different varieties of cashew kernels are W180,W210,W240,W320, etc.
